Jake’s a smart choice to pick if Stoney was smart. Well, he wasn’t. A strange machine with unknown machinations has needs new guinea pigs, and so to say, the new recruit - Chip Campbell, the botanist. It’s easy enough to find the kid as every morning, he’s always with his pink haired retarded friend in the kitchen. Ray has just finished preparing the eggs and laid them in the preserving rack for all the crew to dig in.
“Stoney! You’re just in time.” Ray said, “It’s golden gecko eggs for our first day in space. Ain’t it perfect?”
“Yeah, yeah…” Stoney scoffed, “Enough about the eggs. Chip, I need you to come with me.”
“W- Why?” The brown haired kid was too frail - a perfect person to become a test subject, Stoney thought.
“Yes, why are you asking him to come with you? Can’t you see he’s busy eating my eggs?” Ray retorted. Chip looked at the pink-haired fool with a blush on his cheeks. The retard didn’t even know how dirty he sounded with that remark.
“It’s complicated. I just need him - not you,” Stoney replied.
Ray, on the other hand, wasn't just going to let himself lose to the musclehead. "The two of us are a package. If you’re getting him, I’ll be coming as well.”
“That’s not for you to decide.”
“I know, it’s up to Chip. Ain’t that right?”
