Because of all the travel restrictions and social distancing, cabin fever was almost beating out the Coronavirus pandemic. But not everyone was taking annoyance at it. For Animalia in particular, they were doing repairs and renovations in each and every colony, while the GGAC were doing deliveries.

Lyre and Animalia was doing a lot of renovations, mainly to the Meat Market and Claw Coliseum. Many of the features of both locations had suffered a lot of wear and tear, not just to the floors. But there was also a lot of internet hype for Mr. Hyun's match. There was an internet poll over who would win that was already at one million votes. Another internet poll was on the advertising poster for said match, especially for the design, font, and background.

Mieni Atoll was getting into the "renovation and repair act" with repairing some of the seaside cabanas that were more "authentic" than others, being made of all natural materials. The latest episode of Fun and Fins showed Susan, Tzan, Brazen, and Chipper also getting into the act, with it clearly showing that Tzan and Brazen had been roped into this by Susan and Chipper against their will. What made it even funnier was the simple fact that of all four of them, both Brazen and Chipper were doing the best at repairing said cabanas, with Tzan taking second place, and Susan getting third. The most common comment was about Susan actively 'trying' even if she didn't succeed as well as the others.

Vilcabamba was also doing some renovations and repairs, mainly because during the first half of the coronavirus pandemic, Vilcabamba was hit with the longest rain forest rainstorm in its existence. While there were regular storms, the latest one was the longest, but it was varying in how heavy the rain was. It ranged from light sprinkle to large downpour. Because of the heavy curtain that separated the building from the treetop village, the damage wasn't too bad, but the floor was in need of cleaning.

Maelewano had a very surprising announcement during the plague of locusts. Apparently there were those "elders" who remembered food shortages due to locust plagues causing all kinds of devastation. So there was a plan to include a food storage place for just such food shortages in the future. But what made it even more surprising was the fact that they had taken possible contamination from the walls of the Burrows into account and painted the walls, ceiling, and floor with chalk paint to reduce contamination.
But what was considered the most surprising, intriguing, and kind of gross (as some put it) was the Cooking with Locusts web series on the Maelewano page of the Animalia Website. It not only showed people and Animalians in Maelewano eating locusts, but also successful recipes that were cooked on camera that had locusts as the main ingredient. There were some international food connoisseurs who had unfortunately gotten pinned at Maelewano who actually had to try out some of the recipes, but they were often surprised by the simple fact that they tasted better than they expected.

Heiya island was the one that was doing the most renovations, especially to the Celestial Palace. Because Ammy and her councilors (aided by the Five Elements) had taken down one of the largest spy rings in Asia, it ended up with 170 girls having "adopted" Ammy as their "beloved mother", much to her surprise. This did necessitate a new wing of the Royal Palace for the new occupants, but there was a humorous video made of nerdy guys getting caught trying to plant hidden cameras in and around the place. But there was a clear annotation at the beginning of the video that proved that it was not really happening, much to the relief of those who watched said video.
Because of the overall success of the "Temple of the Body" in New Zerzura, a similar one was being built on Heiya Island, with a more Japanese/Shinto theme, but it was named からだの神殿. There was a bit of an amusing scene to see Shuixing there doubling down on her workouts and training, but the explanation was even funnier because she had found out that she had gained some "ice cream depression weight" no matter how much she said otherwise.

Dino City was also doing some renovations/additions, mainly of Flintstone-themed decorations because the demand for them were so high. Taking that request into account resulted in some really amusing things. For example, the "old" streetlights were being replaced with ones that looked they were made out of stone and wood. But the biggest thing was the fact that the lightbulb sockets were hidden in small sculptures that were designed to look like giant fireflies from prehistoric days (which didn't really exist in real life).

All together, the Coronavirus was making things really annoying, but not everyone took annoyance at it, and not everyone was attempting crazy things and failing spectacularly.
