Laura turned away from Kaitlin, heading for the car. Kaitlin bit her lip and, after a moment, rolled the dice. A twelve.
“Sixteen years you have walked this Earth. Now this number is but four.”
“Kaitlin!” Laura shrieked as she shrunk down to a toddler. Her shirt was now more like a dress. Impulsively, Kaitlin rolled a single die.
“Four years you have walked this Earth. Now this number is but one. Each roll of the dice takes you closer to your mother’s womb.”
“No!” Laura wailed, shrinking even further. Kaitlin walked over to her young friend. She lifted the infant Laura. Laura squirmed, crying uncontrollably and screaming baby babble at her.
“Aw, is someone hungry?” Kaitlin asked. When Laura shrunk down to a baby, she had felt her breasts swell with milk, proving that she was going to be Laura’s mother now. She unbuttoned her blouse and bra, then brought Laura up to a nipple. Overcome by instinct, Laura latched on. Kaitlin sighed.
“See? Don’t you just want to be my baby girl?” Kaitlin crooned at Laura. Laura continued to suckle, seemingly not hearing Kaitlin. Eventually, Laura finished. Kaitlin burped her. “What a good girl!”
Kaitlin quickly drove to a nearby store to grab some diapers, clothes, and a car seat for Laura. Miraculously, Laura didn’t have any accidents while she was naked, though she did wet and mess herself immediately after being put into a diaper, making Kaitlin wonder if Laura had some semblance of control over herself still.
“Oh, silly baby!” Kaitlin scolded, removing the diaper she just put on Laura to replace it with a clean one. She buckled Laura into the freshly purchased car seat. Exhausted by the events of the day, Laura was fast asleep. Kaitlin got into the driver’s seat and started the car. She knew exactly where she wanted to go.
