Walking back in the house, Sherry saw the cow from earlier, Bill, her mind supplied, standing in the kitchen with his arms crossed. Unlike the humans, he was wearing clothes, albeit plaid pajamas, "Sherry, why isn't my breakfast being prepared?"
Sherry had a moment of confusion before remembering that she hadn't made her masters food yet! "I'm sorry master! I don't know why I forgot!" She quickly began digging through the cabinets and pepping a simple breakfast of toast and eggs, her tail swaying above her perky bottom, showing her submissiveness.
Bill snorted, "If it weren't for us cows, you humans wouldn't remember where you lived." He waved dismissively at her, "Just bring my breakfast up to my bedroom, I'll be in the shower."
As he left, Sherry was grabbing the bred from the pantry when she noticed that she couldn't read the boxes on the shelves, but why would she be able to? For some reason, she had the foggiest idea that she should be able t oread, but didn't no know where that came from, just like how she could just feel that everything wasn't just right yet.
She decided to just keep making her masters breakfast, and focus on that until she could find the chronivac to see if anything was not how it should be. If she could still read that screen that is...
