Colton, as he now called himself, had to admit there was only one reason he was at this party--to get laid. Although the idea that men thought about nothing but sex turned out to be a myth--if he really thought about nothing but sex he wouldn't be at the top of his med school class--there was sometimes a certain urgency that went beyond what he had known before the switch.
"Well hello there." Colton didn't recognize the female voice, but there was a promising note of interest. He turned to see the woman who had addressed him, and was stunned.
The woman laughed. "I thought I saw a familiar face!"
"Uh, Joey?"
"Going by 'Josie' now, but yes, it's me. Thanks for taking good care of my former body, by the way."
"And vice-versa" said Colton, noting that Josie was considerably more attractive than Caitlin had ever been in that body.
Josie fluttered her eyelashes. "Thank you, kind sir."
"You seem happy."
"Oh, I am. The kids are a handful, but they're with their grandparents tonight."
Colton felt a lightbulb go on over his head. "Oh my God, this is what you wanted, isn't it? The whole thing was a setup because you actually wanted this!"
Josie giggled. "Guilty as charged, but no one was forcing you to go for the body swap."
"No, it's been working out great. People just accept the authority of a tall, well-built man the way they don't with a small woman. Uh, nothing personal."
"Oh believe me, I know. But gotta take the sour with the sweet. So you into boys or girls now?"
"Uh, girls."
"I like 'em both, still. Right now, though, I've kind of got a feeling for tall, well-built men."
"Wanna blow this pop stand?"
"I thought you'd never ask."
