Laura’s heart sinks. The outfit is just barely too small for her. Closing her eyes, Laura rolls a single die.
“Six years you have walked this Earth. Now this number is but four. Each roll of the dice returns more of what you have lost.” Laura shrinks down yet again. With no time to waste, Laura removes her clothes and pulls on the toddler outfit, taping on the diaper with great reluctancy. Once dressed, Laura drops the dice case down the front of her romper, stuffs her old outfit into the diaper bag, and walks away, toddling due to the diaper she is wearing.
Laura walks right past a couple of chaperones looking for her, but they don’t even glance at her. She sits in the part of the play area reserved for toddlers and watches as the chaperones double-check the attendance sheet, realize she’s not on it, and leave. She lets out a sigh of relief.
Laura waits a few more minutes to be sure that the school groups have left, then gets to her feet and goes back to the diaper back she’d stashed the preschooler outfit in. To her horror, the diaper bag is gone, along with the outfit better suited for her current age. She rushes over to the other diaper bags, but can’t find anything except toddler and baby clothes.
Laura looks at the clock on the wall of the play area. The train will be leaving soon. She has to leave now if she wants to get there in time. Resigned to being dressed younger than she is, Laura sneaks out of the play area, grabs her items from a table where the employee left them, and exits the restaurant.
On her way to the train station, she feels a sudden urge to pee. She pulls out her phone to check the time. Given that she’ll have to remove a diaper and put it back on, she doesn’t have enough time to go to the bathroom if she wants to board the train. She’ll just have to hold it until she’s on the train.
As Laura resumes her walk, she feels the pressure in her bladder grow. She toddles as fast as she can, desperate to avoid wetting herself. The moment she steps inside the train station, her hold on her bladder breaks. Her diaper is flooded with pee. Laura chokes back a sob, focusing on her mission.
Her diaper now squishing with every step and visibly sagging under her, Laura makes her way to the appropriate train.
