Instead of being alarmed, it awoke a primal feeling in Randy. Closing his eyes, he enjoyed the feelings. He wanted to eat grass. He wanted to laze around a pasture with Evelyn, he wanted to bray, and hewanted to be on all fours.
"Donkeeeawww...I am a donkeeeawwwww!" He moaned."Hee-haw!"
Evelyn got his attention. "Rawwndy. Let’s go have more fuawwwn!"
With that she ran off into the park, tail whipping behind her.
Randy really enjoyed that sound she had made. It felt natural. "Hee-haw!!!" Without bothering to add complicated words, he ran after her.Chasing after his mate, he found that he was falling behind.
Suddenly he was stopped by a crowd in front of him. Strange looking donkeys were blocking the path. Some had ugly furless skin, while others had no tail. He brayed at them as if to scoff. Then he concentrated on catching Evelyn. Suddenly he realized the problem.
He was running on two legs! Braying a laugh at his stupidity, he put his hands on the ground and began running. At first he was scraping his hands and knees. But as he adjusted, he felt his back legs shorten a bit so his feet could be flat on the ground, and his hands hardened helpfully.
He felt his muscles ripple as his middle section grew stronger. Randy felt a loud bray emerging, and he didn't hold it back. It was natural for a donkey to bray. This bray took his face with it on the way out.
Randy was free from the ugly fabric. Braying his joy to the world at the revealing of his coarse gray coat of fur, he finally caught up with the female donkey ahead of him.
A blissful calm rolled over Randy as his human mind receded completely. He cocked his head at the strange look of his mate.
Although her gray fur was beautiful, her hooves shiny and she was oher face was all wrong. It looked like something had taken her muzzle and squashed it. The female looked at him and brayed a greeting. The animal did what came natural to him, he nuzzled her. Finishing with a long lick, he brayed joyfully as he saw her face correct itself.
The two donkeys lost all interest in having “fun” in the amusement park. To them it was just a strange area that they stayed away from. They had all they needed in the pasture. A week later, they were sold to a breeding farm, where they happily lived long lives with many foals.
