Janet decided to call the family together. Everyone headed into the living room and sat down. Alan made his way to the couch and daintily sat. Steven stood behind the sofa and Megan plopped down and sat with her legs spread open.
"Look guys there is not much we can do tonight so let's head up and get some rest." Janet said this then scratched her balding spot.
Alan looked around the room and said,"Yeah mom that sounds like a good idea." The others all agreed and started to stand up.
"Wait a minute." Steven said "Where are we going to sleep?" the family looked at each other strangely.
"That's a good question Steven." Janet replied. "But until we get things back to normal maybe we should sleep in the beds of who we are now."
Stevens face went red. "Oh no I am not sleeping in my daughters bed. I want to sleep with my wife in my bed."
"Steven you need to be reasonable. The world sees you as Meagan now. I think we need to get used to our new roles until we can sort this all out." Stevens face showed anger but he held it in. He stomped his foot much like Megan did when she was angry. "Fine" he said and marched upstairs.
Alan and Janet made their way upstairs and changed into the appropriate sleeping apparel. Janet wore Steven's property of Steelers shirt and cotton pajama bottoms. Meanwhile, Alan had on Janet's nylon pink pajamas with the white lacy collar.
The couple fell asleep together. For some reason Janet began to spoon with Alan.
The alarm went off and Alan woke up. He instinctively put on his moms robe. Found her pink slippers and headed downstairs. Almost on auto pilot Alan ran the house like Janet. He had coffee on. He made Megan and Alan's lunches.
Then he started breakfast for the family. That's when Alan snapped out of it. "Shit what just happened?" He asked himself as the rest of the family headed down.
