Nicole looked at the dice in front of her and began to disrobe. Seeing her boyfriend scowl a bit, she explained, "Look, two people have already had to lose their pants. I'm willing to sacrifice my modesty to avoid the pain of something growing where there isn't room." As she tossed the dice onto the board, she added quietly, "Hopefully, it won't come to that."
In this game as in industry,
it pays to think outside the box.
Here that is a simple task
when you're crazy - like a fox!
"So, does that mean she's going to go crazy?" Joanne asked with concern clear in her voice.
"I don't think so," Alicia answered, trying to assure Nicole that things would be okay. "That was a green square, so I'm going to guess you'll be joining the ranks of the tail-endowed." Alicia found that she was slowly coming to enjoy having the expressive addition, letting it twitch and sway as she spoke.
Nicole dropped to her knees suddenly, her expression a mixture of shock, pleasure and pain. James stepped forward to comfort or aid her, but she waved him away. "I'm all right," she whispered hoarsely. James and the others could only watch as it seemed as though the lines of her body faded out of focus. The effect was short-lived, though, as the changes continued. She was not out of focus, but was instead growing a coat of white fur. Her hair shortened and paled from strawberry-blonde to truly white as, it, too became fur. Then she moaned wantonly, her voice hinting at an animal sound as more drastic physical changes spread over her body, reshaping her. Her ears seemed to melt and flow upward, reforming as alert triangles atop her head, while her face shifted and extended into a half-muzzle. As the rate of changes began to slow, James again stepped forward. This time, she did not resist as he wrapped his arms around her, and let the fox-woman slump, exhausted, into his arms.
James reached forward and kissed the fox on her muzzle. "I love you, Nicole. No matter what happens, or what I roll, I will." She managed a smile as her strength began to return. Not only was she certain that he was being honest, but the pressure she felt beneath her in his lap suggested that she wasn't the only one happy with the game's newest change.
He picked up the dice.
