"Hand me the dice, would you, Alicia?" James asked the newer of the vixens. "I'm, um, still a little tied up over here," he smiled, managing to rediscover a sense of humor in the afterglow of the strange union he'd just taken part in.
She tossed the dice gently toward James's outstretched hand, but they seemed to veer off-course along the way, landing beside the knot-locked couple. "Sorry, I guess I'm a crappy thrower," she offered. But when James reached over to pick them up, he found them unable to be moved, just like Nicole had previously. "What's up now?" he asked.
"Shit," Nicole realized what was wrong, and, frustrated, let her head rest against James's chest. "I guess I'm not very good at keeping track of curses."
"How's that?" James inquired, also having forgotten the cause of the current delay.
"Remember, last turn? My card didn't do anything, but it said I get two this time." Unexpectedly, her figurine slid forward one square, onto a blue square. Daniel and Alicia looked on with dismay. The last blue square had turned Joanne into a mindless sex maniac.
