One of the newest things that was going on in Animalia was the building of mansions for the rich and "super-rich" members who were coming to Animalia. Cooper was actually gathering quite a reputation as Animalia's master architect, especially since he was capable of adding personal weight rooms to existing mansion designs.
The first one that was finished was Nicole and Joanne's mansion, unofficially called Fennec Hall. While it was considered somewhat "standard" in comparison to some mansions, there were easy plans to allow Joanne's servants, who were granted sponsorship for conversion as thanks for saving her life, to adapt the servants' quarters to their new species as needed.

While it is true that a group of vultures were called a committee, it wasn't expected that vultures would organize them in such a way. But it was also true that garbage men make surprising amounts of money compared to some people, which helped debunk the saying "stay in school or end up like the garbage man". Mortimer was the most surprised when Animalia's vultures named him "head of the committee", but the most surprising thing for him was his first month's paycheck, since Animalia's vultures also did garbage pickup. Because he never thought about it, Mortimer, who soon started calling himself 'Morty', was surprised in the amount of money on the check. But being named "head of the committee" did have a bit of a positive effect, since he decided to double down on his physical training.

Anton, meanwhile, was working with 24 bodybuilders who had "cheated" with steroids and thereby compromised their immune systems. With the pandemic going on, even if it was slowing down by this time, they had decided to become Animalians to heal the damages done to themselves. Fortunately, Larry, Amos, and Esteban were more than willing to help him out, with Esteban also introducing them to his new, now, girlfriend Mae West II, which helped them overcome some of their misgivings. Also, because some of them were homosexuals, they were also signed up for Homosexual Anonymous.
One funny side effect of this was the simple fact that some of them decided to record their changes from human to Animalian, and these clips did make their way to Miss Fabina, who saw potential in each of them, but didn't pressure them to join her courtesan's guild, not that some of them did accept her offer.

No one really knew how the story of Ami and her councilors taking down the largest human trafficking ring in Asia with their bare hands started on the internet. Even though it was made clear from the beginning that it had been taken down by Chinese police and Interpol officers, the story continued nevertheless. Fortunately, one manhua artist managed to take advantage of the hype and made a graphic novel about the story, with a simplified, comic book, version appearing in the most recent issue of Animalia Magazine. What was considered the funniest part was Ami's sheep councilor, Kasugami, using drunken boxing and 'sake breath'.
Again, while roughly a quarter of the girls (including the underaged ones) rescued managed to find relatives to live with, this did leave 170 girls with no home or family members of their own. Of course, Ammy and her councilors were more than willing to look after them, which led to the new addition to Ami's royal palace, the Hall of a thousand pretty girls. As Ami met with them, she made it clear that they didn't have to become Animalians if they didn't want to, but it was also clear that they wanted to due in no small part to Ami's "shape". It was also a little interesting to see Ami's reaction to them calling her "Beloved mother".

With the Coronavirus slowly but surely letting up, things were improving overall for Animalia.
