Both Rachel and Rob were stunned by the news revealed by Richard. Richard was the one who didn't want the family to become weres, only for him to become a werelion himself. Rachel would be laughing at the rather irony of the situation if it were appropriate. Her dreams warned her that her father was going to do something stupid, but she had no idea it'd be this. The good news is that she'll probably not have to worry about being turned into a werewolf. She did wonder, though, if her father would let her become a were of her choice, or would she have to go behind his back.
"So," Rob started after Richard finished, "Could we see your were form?"
Richard sighed as he shook his head. "Not tonight," he said. "It's just...I've been through too much tonight. Maybe later." Richard sighed again as he stood back up and made his way to his bedroom. Rachel and Rob looked at each other as Frank made his way to his bedroom.
"Well," Rachel said as she finished eating her dinner, "This is all strange."
"Yeah, I know. I'd think dad would be the last person to change," Rob added. "Then again, this whole town's strange."
"Mom's in the hospital, dad's a werelion, this whole day's strange," Rachel said as she took her plate and fork and then rinsed her plate in the sink before placing it down. "I'm going to my room to finish my setup. If you need me, I'll be up there." After she said that, she made her way up the stairs and into her bedroom.

Once upstairs, Rachel continued her work to set up her mini-"studio". It wasn't really anything fancy, just a webcam, a microphone, and some lighting. It was quite a bit of work to get the camera just right along with the lighting and the microphone to get that just right angle. After doing some tests to make sure everything looked right, she sat back in her desk chair and thought about the day. Her dream self was right in that Dad would do something stupid, but she didn't imagine it'd be turning into a werelion. And since he's a werelion, the Mandatory Were Law was something that she didn't have to worry about for now.
Yet, despite that, she was still interested in joining were society. There was quite a bit she liked about the werefoxes, and she especially appreciated just how...elegant they looked. It was by pure chance and the attention of Aaron that she didn't become a werefox that afternoon. If it weren't for the fact that she could have been pregnant, she'd be okay if she did change into a werefox. And, at the moment, she was leaning to becoming a werefox. Her face flushed as she remembered her moment with Aaron, and just how good it felt. Her heart started to race as she remembered his paws on her body, and just how he knew how to touch her in the right way.
Shaking her head to throw out the thoughts, she looked at her bed and took a look at the old teddy bear laying on it. Werebears were her other options, and she was going to talk to one tomorrow afternoon. She hadn't heard much about werebears, so she was curious about them. She did read up on them in the Moon Lake Guide, and she found them rather fascinating. While they weren't as "sexy" as a werefox, they were plenty big. She was a bit curious as to what they looked like, and she started to wonder if she could talk the werebear into changing, after school of course.
As these thoughts and more filled her head, she changed into her nightclothes and started to get ready for bed. She wondered if she'd be able to make the leap tomorrow from being a normal girl to some kind of werefox or werebear.
