You look down and then over at the mobster, who seemed to be examining the keys in more detail, trying to figure out how they worked. It is so difficult to believe that Keith is just gone like that. And it is all your fault. You feel like rubbish - not only did you turn your friend into...into this, but now you just gave him something that could make his new criminal inclinations even worse. You manage to ask him as he looks over some surrounding cars, "So...Keith's just like, gone. And you've never even been him---"
"Nah, I never said nothing 'bout THAT, little man," Vinny said, shaking his head as he examined the keys again. "It's...kinda funny, ya'know. It's like, I remember bein' Keith and all, but now I have this whole life as Vinny I've lived too. An', ya'know, I like bein' Vinny. But I also can't forget all the times we rolled together."
"Then why'd..." You ask in a rather confused tone, "Why'd you threaten to perforate me if I didn't hand over the keys?"
"And potentially lose all'a this confidence and strength? Not to mention style?" Vinny responded and shook his head, "It's also like, I just got this natural way of doing business now. Threats and stuff like that's just all a part of it, capiche? Wish I could say I'm sorry, Compagno, but---" He seemed to see a car he wouldn't mind getting, and whispered, "...Always wanted one of them rich guy cars..."
He started operating the keys, and a few changes later both you and he were looking at a premium, fresh Ferrari. Vinny whistled and examined the vehicle, crossing his arms in front of his chest, "Damn! Now that's a lovely car, know what I'm sayin'?" You nod quickly, equally impressed by how he was working the keys.
As he got the car open and started fiddling with it, he looked back over at you and asked, "'Ey, you up to follow me around for a bit? I'm not the same fella you knew, but I still got all of Keith's memories up here. I...don't think I'd mind uh, "hangin' out". We just gotta get you some better clothes, eh Compagno?"
You quickly nod, deciding to take what you can get and hopefully eventually bring at least a bit more of Keith's mind back up. It did seem this whole business was more complicated than you'd figured. And you might be able to get some kind of a makeover out of it. With that, you two headed into the car, Vinny of course taking the driver's seat.
