Deion headed straight to his first class, deciding he could take care of any issues he had at lunch. Mercifully it seemed like he wasn't probably gonna need to deal with any goons between classes or anything. He pondered about how he was taking this whole change on the way - he was really getting used to living as Deion, and he was wondering if he'd have to get used to returning to living as Alec if he could ever get himself back. Well, that was a thought for after the big game today. He needed to have his head in the game and do his best today. Everyone was counting on him!
It was notable to him that he was more concerned with Kayla as a friend, and viewed Savannah as a potential lover. He felt like he fucked up enough with Kayla, and she deserved a fresh start with someone else, while Savannah only knew him as Deion. She liked him like this, and she was not shy about it. Really made him have a personal stake in winning this game, beyond the membership on the team.
Deion found himself at break time heading over to the library and checking out some books to see if there were any stories about the kind of thing he had gone through. The librarian seemed surprised to see the big time football jock in here looking at books, but gave him both room and respect in doing so. After all, most of the other guys would not be caught dead in here. Deion found himself looking at the "study buddy" he'd had as Alec in there as well.
He'd never exactly treated Miles Crawford very well at all, and bullying him into helping Alec with his schoolwork had been a downright low thing to do. But Deion wondered when he might be able to try and go about making it up to him somehow.
He found a few books on the topic that seemed relevant to what he knew of what happened to himself, but he wondered if they'd be of any help. Well, at any rate he checked them out and then waved goodbye to the librarian.
By the time PE came around, Deion was almost too curious to see what had become of his old friend Dave.
It was so weird what had happened with Dave, and he guessed he had never known Dave well enough to know about that weird mood he'd went in so long ago. It felt like he'd honestly never really known Dave at all, really.
Dave had never really been the type to fall in with Spencer, and in fact seemed to view him with a certain amount of disdain. He only hanged out with him if there was some kind of get together, and even then the relationship was certainly not friendly. So at least he could expect to not have to deal with more shit on that front. Deion noted that it seemed Dave was not there at the locker room yet, and contemplated where he was. Eh probably off taking care of himself or something---
He was proven wrong by Dave just seeming to swagger into the locker room, wearing a very large grey sports hoodie, jeans, and a belt around his waist. Deion swore under his breath as he saw how big Dave was now. The guy was probably bigger than him in more than a few different ways, the huge sports hoodie barely looking like it fit him at all. The jeans were incredibly tight on Dave's ass, and his tan seemed to be slightly deeper than yesterday.
Deion looked over at him and tried to say something as Dave stripped off in the locker room. He swore the guy just plain looked incredible. But it was becoming more and more difficult to say something wasn't happening here. So Deion decided to try anyway, "Dude, you have got to---"
"No, I don't have to do anything," Dave responded as he flexed yet again for one of the mirrors on the locker room walls. He grinned at his reflection, "I feel amazing, I've never been this buff in my entire life. I think you're jealous. I think you know I'm bigger than you now..." Dave leaned in and whispered, "I think you want me now. Like I want you."
Deion shook his head and sighed, now blushing a fair bit and asked, "...Are you serious? You can't see it?" By now the other guys were clearing out, leaving Deion and Dave to talk.
Dave crossed his arms in front of his chest, grimacing a bit, "I am NOT turning into anything. I'm not turning into an African American like you. That's crazy talk. More to the point, I am not gonna LET myself turn into anything like that."
"You honestly think its a matter of choice...?" Deion asked, shaking his head, wondering how to get through Dave's thick skull. He looked at Dave's hair, and tried to bring that up, "I mean, just look at your hair, man. That's not your---"
"It's fine, It's fine. Nothing wrong with my hair." Dave tersely reacted, turning away and evidently looking around. He looked back at Deion and seemed to swear under his breath. Biting his lip, Dave seemed to try to bring something else up; "You wanna hit the gym with me today? Really see who's the biggest and strongest?"
That brought out Deion's male ego, and he responded grinning a little bit at Dave. Sure Dave was weird, but he was not gonna let this guy show him up. Sure he needed to get to the bottom of this, but he could do that after he demonstrated who was Varsity here. "You're on, big guy. If I win, you at least try and hear me out on what's happening to you."
Dave seemed to realize something and gave a cocky glance over the currently shirtless Deion, "And if I win...we fuck."
Deion flushed a little bit at the idea, wondering about what he could do about that. Admittedly Dave was now quite an astonishing physical specimen, and it wouldn't be too much to experiment like that. He looked around, and then looked at the grinning Dave. Well, it was a competition, and Deion had no intention of going easy or letting Dave have it. And having someone else going through this could be an absolute necessity. Could tell him how to undo this whole thing. "You are on, Dave." Well, this was quite a risk to be taking...
