Laura wakes up the next morning. As she sits up, she realizes that her diaper is dry. This fills her with pride, until she stands up and promptly feels warmth flooding her diaper. With a soft sigh, she takes off her onesie, changes her diaper, and puts her onesie back on. Determined to leave before the owners of the house wake up, she climbs back up to the window she entered through the night before, sucking on her pacifier urgently. She scrapes herself a bit on the way out, but escapes without any other issues.
Pleased with herself, Laura sets off, toddling down the street. It’s very early in the morning, so the neighborhood hasn’t even begun to wake up. This makes Laura relieved. She’s less likely to be seen and picked up by a concerned citizen. Maybe she can even make it to the magic store before lunch.
Laura leaves the neighborhood. Houses change to businesses. Laura sucks on her pacifier, nervous that she might now be spotted. The possibility of being seen isn’t her only concern; she can also feel her stomach rumbling. It’s been a while since she’s eaten. It might be nice to stop somewhere for some food. If that’s even possible for her to do in her current situation.
