Laura knew that even if she tried to turn Anna down, Anna had all the power and would likely refuse to let her return to her proper age. So she smiled sweetly at Anna.
“I like it!” she chirped cheerfully. Anna beamed at her.
“Oh, that makes me so happy, sweetie!” Anna cooed. “Let’s have some breakfast, and then you can decide what we do!” Anna picked Laura up and brought her into the kitchen, where she was placed into a highchair and spoonfed baby food. Then, Anna gave her a bottle of milk. Laura guzzled it down, trying to think of a way out of this. She had to escape from her crazy coworker.
“Done,” Laura said once she finished. Anna beamed again.
“You’re such a hungry and thirsty girl.” She stuck a finger down the back of Laura’s diaper. “Still clean. Good. Let’s get you dressed.” Anna brought Laura back into the bedroom, where she removed Laura’s nightgown and slipped a sundress over her shoulders. Then she put Laura’s hair into pigtails. “Perfect! Oh, wait, not yet.”
Anna dug around in one of the shopping bags. Laura watched curiously. Anna turned around and popped something into Laura’s mouth. Laura sucked on it instinctively. To her horror, she realized that she was now sucking on a pacifier.
“Adorable,” Anna gushed. She took her phone out. “Want to pose for me, honey?” Laura widened her eyes and cocked her head in an attempt to look as cute as possible. “Oh, you could be a model.” Anna took a picture. “Lovely.” She tapped her chin thoughtfully. “Hmm. I’m going to file that away for later. You’d be a good diaper model.” Laura sucked urgently on her pacifier. Being a toddler was bad enough. Being a toddler with a job? Even worse.
“Anyways!” Anna chirped. “What do you want to do?” Laura thought for a second. Her decision would influence her ability to escape from Anna.
