Oliver's New Look and Name

Oliver goes over to an abandoned diaper bag nearby and rummages through it. She finds diapers. Training pants would be preferable over a diaper, but Oliver doesn’t want to risk peeing on herself again, so she reluctantly grabs the diaper. She also spots a diaper cover and a dress that should fit her. She looks down at herself. Her dress is wet from pee. Changing her whole outfit would probably be best.

Oliver takes the diaper cover and dress and ducks behind a bush, where she clumsily tapes on the diaper, pulls up the diaper cover, and trades her wet dress for the clean one. For a moment, she wonders what she looks like. She shakes her head. No, she has to stay on task.

She emerges from behind the bush, leaving behind the dirty dress, and makes her way back to the store, now toddling due to the thick diaper she is wearing. Oliver looks up at the sign on the door. Her heart sinks. While she was changing herself, the store closed. She won’t be able to get the ring until tomorrow. And that’s if the employee left it behind.

Suddenly, Oliver feels herself being lifted into the air.

“Now, what are you doing over here?” a voice asks. Oliver turns her head. She’s been picked up by a teenager she used to babysit, Kimberly. “Come on, sweetie. Time to go back to the play area.” Kimberly carries Oliver back to the park and sets her down in the sandbox, then heads over to a nearby bench.

This could be Oliver’s chance to make an ally. As a current toddler, she doesn’t have much ability to do, well, anything. Having a teenager to help would be very beneficial. Oliver gets to her feet and toddles over to Kimberly.

“Did you want something?” Kimberly asks. Oliver nods.

“Kimberly, it’s me, Oliver.” Kimberly raises an eyebrow. “I swear.”

“My neighbor Oliver is a grown man. You’re a little girl.”

“No, I swear!” Oliver quickly tells Kimberly a number of stories from when she used to babysit Kimberly. Kimberly stares at her. “See?”

“I…this is impossible,” Kimberly says after a moment. She purses her lips. “But there’s no way a toddler could be as well-spoken as you and know all those stories. So I guess…I believe you.” Oliver sighs in relief. “But I can’t call you Oliver right now. You’re a girl.” Kimberly looks Oliver up and down. “You’re going to be Olivia. At least, for now. Until we get you back to normal.”

“…Fine,” Oliver, now Olivia, says begrudgingly.

“How will we do that, by the way?”

“Well, we’ll need to find the thing that turned me into a little girl,” Olivia starts. Just then, she feels pressure building in her bowels. She needs to poop.
