Ah here it was the sushi buffet. Sure it wasn't particularly amazing quality thanks to it's buffet nature, but there was plenty of lean protein in some of the fish and enough carbohydrates in the rice... Dawn had to remind herself to either change back into Drew soon or do some serious introspection. It was like she was a completely different person... I mean she technically was, but there probably should've been more overlap... Did she still play the same games...? Yes but she played them less, either was there was the buffet they just had to wait for a table an-
"Oh hi, Dawn is that you?" Dawn looked and saw the cheerleading captain Alice coming in with her family. "I guess we've had similar ideas to pre-cheering foods."
For a second dawn thought "Holy shit the cheerleading captain knows... Right I'm a cheerleader, it would make less sense is she didn't know me." and then said "Yeah, although I guess there aren't too many buffets. Hope we do well tomorrow." Although she felt kinda shaky, she was smart and beautiful... Someone Drew lusted over and Dawn was able to use as a pretty tall measuring stick.
Alice looked and said "Oh why don't we split the bill and have dinner together? It looks like they have a big table empty for large groups!"
Her father said "Well that sounds good, we get to skip the line a bit. I was a little curious about Dawn."
Dawn's father nodded and said "Sounds nice."
Both families got a table together and in the end of heads of the family sat towards one area of the table while Dawn, Alice, and Megan ended on the other area. Their parents were talking about things like high expectations for their cheerleading girls, meanwhile when the girls were eating together they were talking about diet while selecting their food, and when they were eating talked about things like that cartoon that's still going on from Dawn and Alice's childhood. More than that apparently Megan wanted to be a cheerleader when she was older... They were having a good time, and near the end of their dinner Alice said "Oh you should come for a little sleepover, unwind a bit together you know?"
Megan's eyes lit up and asked "Can I join? Can I?!?"
Megan's father said "Now Sweety, the Johnsons haven't even given us a yes or a no yet."
Mr. Johnson said "Oh no worries, perfectly fine. Go back home and let your daughters pack a change of clothes and toiletries, and we can meet up at the game tomorrow."
Dawn's father said "Well then let me go ahead and take care of our bill."
Mr. Johnson grinned and said "Hey no need, we agreed to split it."
"Call it a thank you for looking after our daughters tonight."
"No need, maybe you can host a sleepover sometime and return the favor."
"Sure, but it's just how I was taught to be civil."
"Sounds like you pay to much, actually let me take care of the bill." The argument took long enough that the girls decided to cheat a bit and have one small bowl of soft serve ice cream before they reached an agreement on payment.
A little while later the girls were set up in Alice's room with a bunch of sleeping bags. Everything was set up to be good for relaxing... except for the remote. Dawn kept it with her in her purse as she didn't want to have it lying around... There was a cloaking thing on it or something, but she didn't want it being found by anyone... Then again what if Megan or Alice looked in her bag? She was breathing a little uneasily considering she wasn't even supposed to be Dawn... The worst part was that to act casually she put her purse next to Alice's so who knows if there may be an accidental peak?
