While Meredith was trying to escape, she didn’t notice Crystal run up to her. By the time she did, it was too late. Crystal planted her lips against Meredith’s, who didn’t have time to resist and immediately stopped trying as soon as she tasted Crystal’s saliva.
The two kissed for about 30 seconds before Crystal broke it.
“Like, why’d you run away, babe? Do you, like, totally not love me anymore?” Crystal said. She looked like she was about to cry.
Meredith was about to say something when her head started to feel fuzzy. At first, she was afraid that her intelligence was disappearing again, but she soon realized that she hadn’t lost any IQ points.
When she looked at Crystal about to cry, however, she grabbed her and held her close. “Why did I do that to this poor, beautiful girl that I love so much?” Meredith thought to herself. Crystal started sobbing.
Still holding her in her arms, Meredith stroked Crystal’s hair.
“I’m... I’m sorry baby. The truth is, I don’t know why I did. But I’m here now.” Meredith said.
In between sobs, Crystal managed to sniffle out a response.
“So... so you don’t, like, hate me?” She asked, looking at Meredith.
“Of course not! I love you more than anything, Crystal. Come on, let’s go back.” Meredith said. She couldn’t remember why she was so eager to leave in the first place.
“Okay!” Crystal said, wiping the tears from her eyes. She grabbed Meredith’s hand and they walked back together.
