Kaitlin is watching how Linda is taking Laura to the other room. Now that Laura is gone, she will have to find something to entertain herself with.
Kaitlin begins to observe the entire place. The first thing she notices is that there were not many children and those that were there were a little older than her. Also many of the activities that were presented there did not attract her attention so she refused to participate in them.
When she couldn't be even more bored, she began to hear a voice out of nowhere.
"Five years you have walked this Earth. Now this number is but two. Each roll of the die shall return more of what has been lost. ” Then, Kaitlin started to feel herself shrink down to the same size as Laura.
When the transformation was over, another of the daycare workers found the now toddler Kaitlin and pick her up.
"What are you doing here, little one? You know you should be with the other section."
"I'm sorry," Kaitlin says to the daycare worker in a childish tone.
"Don't worry. Let's go back to the other room but first let's go dress you up in something different."
Then, the daycare worker begins to take Kaitlin to a changing room where the worker begins to remove from Kaitlin all the bigger clothes she was wearing and replace it with clothes that suit her new age: a diaper and a small pink shirt.
Then the daycare worker takes Kaitlin to the same room where Laura was taken and put her in the play area with the rest of the toddlers and babies.
"Now be a good girl, ok? Call us if you need anything." The daycare worker tells Kaitlin before leaving.
After she left, Kaitlin began to look around the room. Everything was more colorful, there were many more children, some of them were the same age as her or even younger, and it was bigger than the other room. Or maybe that was because she was now down to the same age as Laura.
Then....
