"Come to think of it, you do remind me of sonething" Horatio stroked his chin and smiled at James "Let's see how this works"
As Horatio began waving his arms around and muttering words James didn't understand, the helpless young man felt his body both stiffening into position and changing at the same time.
The wizard helpfully stepped to the side so his victim could, and in fact had no choice but to, witness everything that was happening to him in the mirror opposite. His body, which he could feel becoming heavy and immobile, was quickly turning dark grey, the color and consistency of granite.
He could both see and feel his arms, legs and chest becoming more muscular, his body somewhat squat. His fingers and toes grew longer and developed claws that gripped onto the table that had become his home. His face began to contort into a grotesque, animal like version of his usual features so he was still recognisable as James, though barely. A pair of horns grew painlessly on each side of his head and his ears grew and moved upwards to accompany them. Finally a large pair of wings grew out of his back as if to mock his almost conplete lack of mobilty. James could do nothing but stare in horror at the gargoyle looking back at him from the mirror.
"There, much better!" Horatio nodded, folding his arms in understated triumph.
"Please don't leave me like this Master!" James begged, still able to speak though with a pathetic, almost comically contorted version of his usual voice. And where did "Master" come from? That had come out almost against his will. Was their more to this transformation than the obvious.
