Animalia's first ever, dedicated, comic book convention was quite something to see, even with the second wave of the Pandemic going on. As such, there were plenty of masks being handed out, hand sanitizer stations every few feet, and signs reminding people to maintain a safe distance. But even with the "signs of the times" about, it was still a lot of fun.

Probably what was the most interesting was the display on the evolution of certain comic book characters, from the earliest comic books to today's movies. While some were understandable, others were a bit more surprising, such as the original Iron Man. There were also some surprising facts that helped explain some things about certain heroes and/or villains. Such as, The Incredible Hulk was originally supposed to be grey, but due to the printers at the time causing grey to come out as green, it was decided to allow the use of green.
---
There was also a "cosplay" section that allowed Animalians to dress up as superheroes or supervillains and pose in front of certain backgrounds. While this was mainly for fun, there was the occasional representative from either Marvel or DC that were interested in Animalian comic book characters.
---
It wasn't just comic books and/or graphic novels that were part of Animalia ComicCon, as some people unofficially called it. There were also plenty of video games that were there as well as comic books. Sometimes there were comic books that were inspired by video games, or vice versa, and there were displays on which ones had done so.
---
As was often the case, there was a gift shop loaded with plenty of collectibles for purchase, and there were plenty of people, more or less, swarming the area while complying with social distancing. But it wasn't completely without casualty, as there were those who were unfortunately one of those who habitually get things from different comics or video games wrong, much to the irritation of true fans.
---
There was plenty of fun and games to be had at Animalia ComicCon, and there were relatively minor incidents of lawbreakers or troublemakers, so it was deemed an overall success, even with the pandemic going on.
