Jenny wakes up early the next day and sets about getting ready. She begins stepping into her shower before deciding at her side filling the tub for a bath would be easier. Once the tub is filled, she climbs in and washes herself head to toe. As she sits in the large tub she considers that bubbles would make it much more fun.
She shakes her head trying to clear her thoughts and steps out of the tub. She definitely needs to get these symptoms addressed at her upcoming appointment. Embracing girlhood so easily is not ideal.
Putting her concerns aside, she considers what she should wear. Hannah hadn't said what her plans for the day were, so it wasn't easy to anticipate what would be the most appropriate. Eventually she decides to go with something neutral; a pair of jeans, a cartoon print shirt, and some sneakers.
She is just about to get breakfast when she sees Hannah pulling up. Not wanting to have Hannah come in before the house has been appropriately decorated, Jenny heads out to meet her. The sixteen year old steps out of her car to greet Jenny. The girl looks unnervingly like Jenny did at 15, same blond hair, same lean figure, even same cup size.
"Hi Jenny! I'm so excited to finally spend time with you outside of set!"
Jenny finds herself instinctively grinning at the over the top greeting, "Hi Hannah!"
Hannah laughs, "The little professional can smile off script." Jenny shoots her a quizzical look, "Sorry I hope that didn't sound like I was making fun of you. I just mean you're so serious on set you'd think you've been acting forever."
Jenny can't read whether Hannah is being sincere or not but decides to give her the benefit of the doubt, "It's ok. I guess I just take after my aunt, she's an actress too."
Something seems to click with Hannah, "I knew your name sounded familiar! My brother loves old horror movies. Jennifer Mitchell was in like a hundred of those. She's your aunt?"
Jenny beams, this is the first time in ages anyone's recognized her like this, well "her aunt" but still, "Uh huh!"
"Wow, no wonder you're a natural! You'll have to tell me what it's like having a famous relative today."
Jenny gives a mock salute, "Yes, ma'am."
Jenny's amusement briefly falters when Hannah opens her back door to reveal a booster seat. Jenny has been making the long walks around town recently and didn't even consider that she was small enough to ride in one of those. Hannah is oblivious to the change in mood and lifts Jenny into the seat and buckles in.
As Hannah returns to the driver seat, Jenny asks, "What are we doing today?"
