"Like pouring concrete sometimes age is set then a little bit of shrinkage occurs, no more than a handful of years. It's such a rare effect that the odds are statistically insignificant. We don't tell clients to avoid unnecessary panic."
Jenny considers the effect losing just a "handful of years" would be and chokes back and concerned whine.
The doctor notices the uncomfortable expression, "See now you're worked up over nothing. I'd place a fair sum of many betting you won't ever experience this. Now is there anything else I can do for you?"
Jenny forces a measured tone, "No, thank you for your time."
The doctor leads Jenny back outside and wishes her a good day. Jenny heads off down the street still troubled by the news. Maybe she needs to do something to take her mind off things.
