You scanned through the bookshelves before one catches your eye, a book colored in grey, with runes etched on the spine and it's front cover. You take it out of the bookshelf and it was quite light, despite it being a large book. You held the book in your hands as you inspected it, there were plenty of foreign signs you couldn't understand, yet at the same time, felt similar, as if you knew what it mean't despite not knowing what it says
"Ooh, the tome of Infinity, that certainly is a very interesting find" heard the witch say "That tome has had a very intriguing origin, it has been said a cult of wizards has created it for their own purposes, only to be lost, while some say it's made by a humble sorcerer who wanted to make people's dreams come true, and of course there is the saying that it suddenly appeared out of thin air, into the hands of a shopkeeper" the witch explained, the last part being a simple joke, or is it? "The tome of Infinity is a large mix of all other magical tomes inside this store, being able to use every magic in existence to a slightly lesser extent. Though it is known for a fact that only a few people could be able to use the Tome of Infinity, not even I could wield it, but it would give of an indication to see if a certain individual is capable of using it" she explained, and just in time, the book in your hands began to glow, before slowly, it began to etch your name on the cover in golden ink "And as it seems, you are deemed worthy for this Tome, so, who am I to keep you away from it?" The witch said, indicating that she is giving it to you, for free "say, why won't you use it right now?" She asked, pointing at the book
You scanned through the book's pages, seeing alot of rather odd, yet intriguing choices. On one chapter of the book shows the head of a person, with snakes for hair. One chapter shows a person transforming into an animal of some sort. Another one shows some sort of hypnotic spiral, all of them called "Petrification", "Transformation" and "Psyche" there were also more, but you currently don't have the time to check it out
You guessed that you will never know if it's really magic if you haven't tried yet, so why not use it?...
