Laura heads for her brother’s house, determined to get out of this outfit and fix things. She gets to the house without any problems and enters. When she opens the safe to get the dice, however, the movement jostles them. One does the smallest of rolls.
“Five years you have walked this Earth. Now this number is but two. Each roll of the dice returns more of what you have lost.”
“No!” Laura whines as she shrinks yet again. She can’t decide whether to be relieved or not that her young, toddler clothes still fit perfectly. Apparently, she was a small kindergartener but a large toddler. She tries to look on the bright side. Yes, she messed herself earlier, but it was on purpose. So she’ll have to wait a bit longer to have an actual accident in her diaper.
Laura grabs the dice and puts them in the backpack that she took from her niece’s room. After a moment, she lets out a sigh and goes to look for any diapers leftover from when Alex was being potty-trained. She finds a few, and stuffs them into the bag as well.
Determined to go to the magic shop and fix things before she gets even smaller, Laura leaves the house, toddling down the street. She gulps nervously as she realizes that her route will take her past the store she just escaped from, as well as a daycare. It might be a bit risky to go that way; she might get picked up. But the only other route will take her through the woods. And the woods were intimidating as an adult. As a two-year-old, they’re so scary, Laura might wet herself.
As Laura thinks this, she feels warmth flood her diaper. She sighs. Apparently, just thinking about the woods scared her enough to wet herself. Who knows what would happen if she actually went that way?
