Frank looks around at the lot of you and clears his throat.
"Say boss, how about you make him a musically talented bloke for our gang hm? We've got you and Marco for the leads, Tony for security, but noone for entertainment." He suggests with a bit of a smile.
You cant help but nod in agreement. He did make a good point. All work and no play would make for many dry spells when not out at sweet joints like this. You glance over at Vinny, your jaw still throbbing.
Vinny rubs his thumb along his chin in thought for a few seconds, then grins. "I like how ya think Frankie-boy. Swell idea." He turned to face Beau again and smirked. "Today's your lucky day fella, you're about to get a whole lot more jazzed."
"What are you talking about slick? I dont know how to play any damned instruments." Beau snarls with a roll of his eyes.
Vinny simply chuckles and with a flick of his wrist, aims the keys and presses the button. "Dont you worry your pretty little head about that minor detail." In an instant, an ethereal looking glow envelopes the young man.
"What the hell is going on here?? What are you doing to me you bastard?!" Beau yells in a mix of anger and fear.
"Shhh pal. Just let the feeling wash over ya." Vinny says in a smooth tone. "Become lost in the music."
The glow turns into a mist of music notes similar to the ones that changed Laughlin and the band, but not quite as dense so as to still be able to view the changes. First to change is Beau's sweater, shirt and tie as the combo morphs into a maroon necktie over a white dress shirt with sleeve garters, soon covered up by a rather fancy looking black pinstriped blazer complete with a matching maroon pocket square in the breast pocket. His skinny jeans and loafers also change into black pinstriped dress slacks and black and white wingtip dress shoes. His face is then surrounded by the notes as his modern glasses shift into a more old school jazz band looking top-rimmed glasses. His hair keeps the nice side part and geled appearance, but grows out to a more pompadour style, and his beard grows out to a nice full, well kept look. A black trillby with purple accent ribbon forms on his head. He then grows a few inches to around 5'10, and a lump pushes out from his throat to form a bigger adam's apple. His body gains more definition from years of lugging around instruments, but nowhere near the level of Tony. As a finishing touch, an instrument case materializes on the ground next to Beau.
"Whoa...what the shit...this is wild guys..." Beau states in a daze in his new deeper voice, not quite used to his new form yet. The expression on his face changes in an instant, like a switch being flicked. "Vinny my good man, good to see ya."
Hearing this Vinny nods and Tony lets go of Beau, who straightens his outfit and smiles.
"Mighty fine crew of lads we've got. Can't thank you enough for straightening me out back there. Sorry for the shiner Marco."
You smile and nod towards him. "Right on pal. No hard feelings dontcha worry bout it."
"My pleasure Beau. Always willing to help others realize their full potential." Vinny tips his hat to him. "Well fellas, what next?" He says, surveying the club subtly.
