Nicola sat impatiently on the park bench and waited for James to return. Why was he taking so long? All he had to do was pick up a stick and bring it back to her - was that really so time consuming? She had tired of James being an obedient dog now anyway, and had far too many entertaining ideas on what to do to him with the remote next to sit around wasting time like this.
"James, return to me at once" Nicola commanded via the remote, but for the first time one of her instructions did not become reality. She made a couple more attempts, also without success. It appeared James was too far away to be affected by it. It would be like trying to switch channels on a television in another house, she figured.
This was bad. Where was James and why would he run off like that? Did he want to spend the rest of his life as a female poodle? Because that would be his fate if Nicola was unable to find him. She wasn't even completely sure how to identify him - one fluffy, white dog looked pretty much the same as another to her.
Still, she needed to start looking immediately. The remote couldn't help her, unless she could think of a way to use it to affect herself that would prove useful. Nicola stood up and sighed as she began her search. Until she could come up with a better idea that would involve checking any place she could think of nearby that a human male who had been transformed into a canine female might decide to go.

James had eventually managed to escape the attentions of her horny male persuer, but had done so at the expense of having any clue where she now was. She was in what looked like a pretty regular street, but they could be hard enough to navigate at human height in London and her view was now mostly of peoples ankles and shins. Still, she couldn't be too far from Nicola's flat and if she could find her way back there she was sure this nightmare would be over eventually. However, after walking for an hour or so James really had no idea if she was any closer to her destination than before and she began to feel tired. James stopped to rest for a while, and as she did so a particularly shapely and inviting pair of legs moved towards her and stopped in front of where she had sat down.
"Aww, are you lost, girl?" James looked up as the stranger dropped to one knee and revealed herself to be a cute, brown haired, freckle faced girl in her mid twenties "Do you want to come with me?"
James wasn't sure why she bothered asking her that unless she could speak dog but barked to at least acknowledge her.
"Ok, well you are more than welcome to stay me until we find your owner, or for good if we can't" the girl smiled "my name is Gemma, by the way."
Gemma ruffled James' fur delicately in a way that, even as a female, she couldn't help but feel aroused by.
"I'm afraid I don't know your name, so until we find your owner I'm going to call you Cindy" Gemma told James with a smile "you look like a Cindy to me!"
Cindy barked in protest but it was too late. Gemma had pulled a lead from her bag and tied it around her neck before she fully realised what was going on.
"Come on Cindy, let's go!" Gemma beamed as she tugged on her new dog's lead and Cindy had now choice but to follow.
