Ashely picked up the phone and dialed her own room's number.
"Yes, I finally got one. Meet me in room 326!" She hung up and smiled, looking down at her large belly. She rubbed it gently. "This is going to be so much fun for both of us!" she said.
Just then, her husband entered the room and locked the door behind him. "Wow! You weren't kidding!" He rubbed his wife's belly. "They finally assigned you a pregnancy!"
"I was starting to think it would never happen" she said. "All these years of babysitting little toddlers while everyone but me got to experience an un-birth. I never thought they'd let me do it!"
"How was it?" asked Charles.
"Oh it was incredible!" she gushed. "I could actually feel her getting smaller inside me!"
"You know," said Charles. "This makes me kind of jealous that we didn't put a baby in you the normal way." She blushed, and he continued. "We could at least pretend, you know. Go for a little ride and role play like we made this little baby in you?"
"Charles!" she exclaimed. "This is a guest! I can't have you doing... THAT while she's in there."
"Come on," he begged. "She won't even know. Babies don't remember anything that happens before they're born."
"Well..." said Ashley, as her husband began to rub her shoulders.
