Rick normally wouldn’t have run up to a teacher and started pouting, but since he was a four year old girl in a pink dress he figured it was worth a shot.
“Miss Michelle? Miss Michelle? Paul is being a big meanie! He’s playing with the you camera and he won’t share with me!” Rick said as he rushed up to the teacher, doing his best imitation of a little girl pout. Miss Michelle frowned. “Paul! You have to share your toys with Rachael! Remember the rules!” She scolded. “Now, let me see it....”
Rick’s heart sank as Paul, reluctantly, handed the camera over to the teacher. “I just found it over there...” he mumbled. Miss Michelle turned the camera over on her hands and frowned. “This is a real camera. Somebody must have left this behind when they dropped off their kids. You shouldn’t have been playing with this Paul. I’m going to have to hold onto it until someone comes to pick up from the lost and found. Now, you two head over to the reading circle right now.
Rick groaned mentally but knew there wasn’t much of a choice but to wait for a better opportunity. It wasn’t like a four year old girl could snatch the camera out of an adult’s hand. He headed over to the “reading circle” and was promptly handed a Disney Princess picture book. Carefully keeping an eye out, Rick spotted that Miss Michelle had placed the camera on the edge of a desk as she rushed off to help to some of the kids.
Moving as carefully and quietly as a four year old in a bright pink dress could, Rick snuck across the room to the desk. “Here goes nothing” he whispered as he picked the camera up and took a picture. The camera flashed, and....
