Jess is toddling around after mom, trying to avoid being picked up by any relatives, when she comes across a piece of paper. Curious, she picks it up and reads it. Her mouth drops open. It’s a note that must have come with her suit. The note says that the suit is permanent. If she doesn’t take it off within 24 hours, she’ll be stuck as a toddler.
She stuffs the note into her diaper cover and hurries for the bathroom, intending on taking off the suit now. Yes, she’ll be naked, but it’s better than risking being stuck like this. Before she can even take a few steps, however, her mom picks her up.
“Now, where are you rushing off to?” mom asks.
“Bafroom.”
“You’re wearing your bathroom,” mom says, squeezing Jess’s diaper.
“No want change diapy,” Jess says desperately. Mom thinks about that for a moment.
“Hmm. And I don’t really want to change your diaper, either.” She sighs. “Fine. I’ll take you to the bathroom.” Mom carries Jess into the bathroom, where she removes Jess’s clothes and diaper, then sets her on the toilet. As Jess pees, her mom spots the note, which fell out of the diaper cover and onto the floor when the diaper cover was removed.
“That’s-” Jess starts. Mom picks up the note and reads it. She frowns at Jess. “I no mean to get perm’nant. It was mistake. Wanted temp’rary.”
A contemplative look settles on her mom’s face. Jess swallows nervously, hoping that her mom won’t stop her from removing the suit.
