A week after accidentally putting on a permanent suit and thus needing to grow up again, Jess sits in a playpen, sucking on a pacifier. The story she told her mom was that she purchased a suit to look nicer for the wedding, only to discover it was a permanent toddler suit after she put it on. In the chaos of contacting the company and being turned so young, she wasn’t able to get to the wedding on time.
Luckily, her mom believed her story. Unluckily, her mom decided that she wouldn’t treat Jess as the adult she used to be, but as the toddler she now is. Jess is subject to all the difficulties of being a toddler, but with the mind of an adult.
Jess feels pressure in her abdomen. By now, she’s gotten used to using her diaper, as her mom refuses to even begin potty training her yet. Without thinking about it, she gets to her feet and bends her knees into a squat. Her diaper is flooded with pee. After pushing and grunting for a few moments, Jess evacuates her bowels as well.
When she was a toddler the first time, she struggled with constipation, so her mom gives her stool softeners and laxatives regularly to prevent that from happening. While it keeps Jess regular, it also makes her diapers have the smell and feel of toxic waste. She goes to the edge of the playpen, spits out the pacifier, and starts to cry loudly for a change. After a few moments of crying, her mom enters the room.
“Ooh, someone’s a stinky girl!” mom coos, picking Jess up. She carries Jess to the nursery she set up and lays her down on the changing table. “By the way, sweetie, we’re going to go on an adventure today!” she says as she changes Jess’s soiled diaper. She wipes Jess down and tapes a fresh diaper on, but doesn’t replace Jess’s onesie. “Which dress?” she asks, holding up two toddler dresses. Jess points at the yellow sundress. “Great!”
Jess’s mom pulls the dress over Jess’s shoulders and puts her hair into pigtails.
“You’re probably wondering where we’re headed.” Jess nods. “We’re going to…”
