"Aren't we all donkeys though?" Danielle asked rather straight faced. "Or at least…aren’t we becoming donkeys?" She asked again with a knowing smirk.
“What…what the hell are you saying!? Of course no! We are all humans. This is some stupid giftshop gag.” Madelyn said, pulling on the young woman’s ears eliciting a yelp and a glare.
"Doesn’t seem like one to me" Danielle smirked as she turned her gaze back on the jackass show. "Come on, Madds...just watch the show and enjoy yourself, I know I am"
But instead Madelyn watched Danielle. Her ears were thumping...and growing to the beat. Gray fur flowed over them.
“What the...” She looked to Danielle herself. She looked like she was heaving back and forth trying to hold something in.
What Madelyn failed to notice, as she kept her attention on Danielle, was her own growing ears, which were gaining brown fur, and the bulge at the base of her spine was pushing out more and more, gaining the same brown fur as it started to strain against her pants.
Danielle was now visibly heaving back and forth. Eyes riveted on the donkeys.
“Danielle? Are you okay?”
"Yeah Madds….just….loving the show..." Danielle said in a dumb stupor. "Just… wanna be a donkey, no worries or cares...a good looking jack to settle down with...be so haawwwwwwwwwppy."
Madelyn watched her friend in confusion as she continued to stare at the jackasses.
“Danielle???”
Danielle was now slapping her hands on the table and looking like she was about to barf, as if she was trying to hold something in.
"He...he he...hee heee heee…HEEEEEEHAAAAAAWWW!!!" Danielle blurted out with a goofy grin as she felt her lips thicken, her nostrils growing larger, her teeth bigger, all from that one bray.
Madelyn on that same note felt a strange urge to bray as well, her pants starting to strain. That full throated donkey bray broke Madelyn out of the haze. She grabbed Danielle by the arm and took her outside.
“You just brayed...like a donkey! An ass! And look at your ears!”
"I know Madds, I know " Danielle said smiling "I felt them earlier. It feels fantastic Madelyn...I don’t care if you don't wanna change...not that I get why you wouldn't...but I do..."
Madelyn heaved a sigh of relief. “Great. Let’s get out of here.”
"Why? I wanna stay with the other donkeys." She said blissfully.
“I know Dany, I’m scared too, let’s get gone!” Madelyn said, still not processing what Danielle was saying.
"Come on Madds, let's just stay, look at them hawwwwwt jacks, being a jenny couldn't be so bad right?" Danielle asked as some of the other girls there had already gave in far faster, already resembling an in between of donkey and human.
“Almost…What!?” Madelyn turned back to Danielle. “You WANT to be a dumb animal?”
"Yes" She replied with a grin
"You WANT to lose your mind? To be a braying jenny on some farm or in a mine pulling carts!?"
Danielle looked at her in disbelief.
"Why!?"
"Cause doesn’t that sound great? To be a happy dumb donkey without a care in the world?" Danielle smiled, not a hint of fear in her voice. Madelyn stood there slack jawed.
“Knock yourself out you dumb animal. I’m getting out of here before I start changing.” Madelyn said, gaping at the sight of girls still playing everywhere in spite of the supernatural changes.
"Sounds good to me." Danielle said with a goofy grin as she walked back to see the jacks. Madelyn’s ears soon matching the length of Danielle's.
“Seriously. I’m leaving before I end up with donkey ears or something.”
"You already have donkey ears!!!" Danielle said with a braying laugh
“No I don’t a donkey. I would have felt something like that.” Despite this denial, Madelyn worried Danielle was telling the truth.
Danielle then walked up to her friend and grabbed her long ears.
"See? You're gonna be a jenny like meeeeehawwww."
“What the!?!?!?” Madelyn pulled her ears down and saw the brown furred ears of a donkey. “How!? I didn’t do anything!”
"You drank with meeeehaww." Danielle smiled and hugged her friend in a dopy manner.
“No, no, no!!! I DON’T WANNA BE A STUPID DONKEY!!! I’ m not an animal!” shouted Madelyn.
Without warning Danielle pulls out a mug of beer and splashes it in Madelyn’s gaping mouth.
“What the, what did you...oh....” Madelyn put her hand to her head as a fog fell over it. A smile began to spread over her face. “Fun...wanna have fun.”
"Well come on then, let's watch the show an beeeeehawww, jennies together!" Danielle said with a dopy grin as Madelyn felt her teeth grow bigger in her mouth, making her grin goofier.
