"... and that's when I told him he could shove it up his blimp!" Joe finished with a story, taking one last sip of wine.
"Bwahaha! Joey stooop that is too funny." Abigail chuckled. She couldn't help but fall for Joe, mostly because of his wallet. She liked him, but there were definitely a few downsides like the kids and the pot belly he sported. She'd just have to deal with it till Olivia was old enough to be shipped off to a school, then she could divorce this bastard and take his fortune.
Joe looked into the eyes of his beautiful wife. He couldn't imagine he'd be so lucky as to find such a gorgeous woman. He long blonde hair, her firm breasts, her hourglass figure, it was all incredible. Joe scratched his beard with a chuckle, realizing that he was probably being a creep just staring like that.
"So, anyway, once that happened we-" He began to continue before a call down the hall interrupted.
"Daddy Daddy!" Olivia's voice rang out as she circled the hall out into the main room.
"Hi sweetie, whatcha got there?" He asked with a chuckle as Abigail rolled her eyes at the brat.
"It's the camera Becca got for the uhh ahhhhh!" Olivia suddenly yelled as she tripped over her own flower girl dress.
The eight year old landed with a thud on her knee and side, while the camera spun in the air, landing on the ground in front of her. The camera unfortunately managed to face both Joe and Abigail, and with a sudden FLASH both Joe and Abigail changed.
"奥利维亚，你还好吗?!" (Olivia, are you okay?!") The 40 year old Jia yelled as she awkwardly rushed over in her high heels.
The little girl sat up with tears in her eyes. One of her dark black pigtails was still standing while the other had dropped down on half of her head. She had a little skid mark on her knee barely visible under her dress. With tears welded up, she began to quiver her lip.
"Mama, I think I broke Becca's camera." The now Chinese Olivia cried, as having an ethnically different mother had unknowingly altered her as well.
The plump Latina maid that had once been Abigail walked up to her boss with concern.
"Oh poor mija, do you need a... how you say, booboo band?" She asked, forgetting the english word for band aid.
Olivia giggled at the goofy name, and through some tears nodded her head. She grabbed Olivia by the hand and started to walk her into the other room.
"Thank you Alejandra." Jia sighed in relief. "Her father will be home soon, he will help."
Jia crouched down to grab the polaroid just as Rebecca walked into the room. She had long, curly jet black hair, pale white skin, and was wearing a beautiful white gown, perfect for a wedding.
"Ma, my bridesmaids will be here soon to... what's wrong?" Rebecca asked.
Jia turned and gasped at Rebecca.
"你长得真漂亮我女儿." (You look so pretty my daughter). She said happily.
Rebecca rolled her eyes.
"谢谢妈妈，但是在我的婚礼上我们会说英语." (Thank you mom, but at my wedding we speak English.) "Got that?"
Jia rolled her eyes in response.
"Oh, my poor girls are so ungrateful. I should take you back to China and find a nice Chinese man to marry." She sighed.
"Well, Kyle is American, so none of that." She laughed. "Emiko came all the way from Japan to be my maid of honor, and she knows Chinese a bit so if you need to gossip please talk to her." Rebecca joked.
"Mmmm, not the same." Jia laughed back.
"Where's Olivia?" Rebecca asked.
"Oh, she came running in foolishly and dropped the camera while hurting her knee." Jia explained.
"Is she alright?" Rebecca asked.
"Yes, Alejandra is tending to her booboo now." Jia chuckled. "But, she was worried about the old fossil camera you wanted to use since she dropped it."
"Ha!" Rebecca laughed as she grabbed the camera. "Olivia is so sweet. She shouldn't worry though. These things are super tough, and that's part of the reason why I want the photographer to use it later."
"Well, we should still check to make sure it works." Jia suggested.
"You're right..." Rebecca thought, wondering who they'd test it out on.
