Noah didn’t like how easy he was to carry, even though he had to admit waddling around in the teddy bear costume was slow and it was dark. “Okay Noah, I know it was a long day but I am really disappointed in you. You created this situation for yourself.” His dad dropped Noah on his bed.
“I know, I won’t try to trick people into swapping again.” Noah frowned.
“Alright, I’m also going to head to bed. Hopefully the power is back on in the morning. Have a good night”
“Yeah I hope so. Have a good night dad.”
His dad closed the door, leaving Noah to get some sleep. Noah looked at himself covered head to toe in the bear costume once again, unable to take it off. He sighed and dozed off, he was again really comfortable all night in the costume.

Noah’s dad woke up to hear knocking on the door, he walked over to it to find his neighbours. Noah was still in bed.
“Oh hello, please come in out of the cold.”
“Thank you” The family stepped inside, it was the same people Noah had bumped into yesterday.
“Our power is still out and part of our roof collapsed, can we stay here until someone comes to look at it?
“Oh my god, of course no problem. Here let me help call someone, he gestured to the kitchen where his cell phone was” The group walked over to the kitchen.
“Dad what am I supposed to do…” The little girl spoke up.
“Oh Kaylie, please just wait a little longer” The mother was clearly stressed out.
“Oh my son can watch your daughter for a bit, she can wake him up” Noah’s dad had forgotten about his son’s predicament over the excitement.
The daughter ran off to go find a friend to play with, still wearing her coat hats and mitts since the house was so cold. When she found Noah’s room she got super excited. She whispered, “It’s the teddy bear from yesterday” She immediately took off her coat and snuggled up to Noah in his bed underneath his covers. Noah didn’t even notice since the costume was so plushie. Kaylie fell asleep almost immediately snuggled up to the huge teddy bear.

Noah’s Dad and his neighbours finally work out what to do about the house, calling a few people they mention they won’t be able to do anything until the storm is over.
“You can stay here until everything comes back online, sorry it’s so cold.”
“Thank you so much, I can’t believe we spent the last few hours arranging this”
“Is it okay if we leave Kaylie with you while we check on the house and wait for the repairmen?”
“No problem with me, I can watch her for a day.”
“Thank you, let me go tell her” Kaylie’s Mom went upstairs and looked into Noah’s room. She saw that Kaylie was napping with one of the boys’ teddy bears and it would be best to just write her a note and not disturb her.
“She is sleeping with one of your son’s teddy bears, I thought it would be good to leave her there.
The two rushed off back to their house.
Noah’s Dad just came to the realisation that Noah is still in the bear suit. He laughs at himself “Well he is in for another weird day”
