“Ah knew it.” Gloria said from behind a corner as she watched her music player being wheeled into Patrick’s Parties.
The grubby old creep had been trying to run her out of business for years now. But trashing her shop? That’s going too far.
She silenced a guard with a sudden kiss before bolting into the storage room. She watched her music samples being tossed aside as the balding redhead slipped in some new tracks.
“Ah, wait’ll the old cow realizes ah’ve got customers lining up with her own equipment.” Patrick greedily chuckled.
He slipped the headphones on and turned on some kind of folk music.
Gloria grinned, tapping the special buttons and standing right behind him.
“Ah don’t get it, this is just a regular music player!” Patrick yelled, “Why is this so special?!”
“You’re about to find out.” Gloria said as she placed her lipstick print over his mouth.
He sat there in stunned silence as his lips plumped up and the music began to play.
His hair grew in at full force, turning silky and wavy as it cascaded down. His body hair fell away like pine needles as the walls themselves fell away.
‘What the hell?!’ Gloria thought as everything seemed to vanish and fall away.
CDs, records, customers, all poofed away as the walls turned wooden, and from the oak floorboards popped up... barstools?! Along the walls emerged dartboards and TVs blaring soccer matches.
And then emerged tables and chairs, and cute redheads in dresses with frills around the clevage and tight corsets. And then a bunch of drunk chicks?!
Gloria turned to see that see was sitting at a bar with a tall mug of Guinness. Her music player had taken on a Celtic design as a buxom redhead jauntily shook her hips.
The woman turned around to show her delicate freckled face and D cups accented with frilly lace.
“Thanks for the new music player, lass.” Patty smiled as she kissed Gloria on the lips with a flirty wink.
“Well alright then....” Gloria smiles, not sure what just happened.
