The Hansom Herd have been a part of Animalia for a while now and they've had time to adjust. The sextuplets now felt like they were really adults rather just young kids who have been fast-forwarded to adulthood by an accidental double-dose. They definitely felt more at east with the mature bodies. In fact, Damien was currently dating Adi, who had been their guide in adjusting to Animalia. His siblings hoped that the two of them would end up together, though Elijah was a little bit jealous that his 'twin' had scored such a beautiful mare.
As such, Elijah was a bit more open to the idea when he and Abraham were invited to a double-date with two members of the Mane Six. Abraham was a little leery, considering the Six's reputation at this point. On the other hand, as a stallion, he was feeling the same urges as his brother. However, he was trying to keep a more level head. First of all, it was only going to be lunch with these ladies, nothing more. There was also some bargaining that was going to go on.
It was Jessie and Theresa who ended up meeting them. Abraham was pretty sure the low necklines of their shirts were not accidental. Elijah wasn't making much effort to avoid staring down their cleavage. Not that Abraham didn't enjoy the view, but as the eldest, he felt responsible for all of his siblings. And it would probably be best to put his hoof down before the mares got too distracted or distracting.
"Let's get down to brass tacks," said Abraham, "We all know what you two want with us. You want us because we're one of the few single stallions left in Lyre."
Theresa gave him an annoyed look, "You know, there's supposed to be a process to this, the flirting, the teasing, the special moments. You take all the romance out of it if you skip right to the end."
"I'm not against that," said Abraham, "But there are a few conditions."
"Let me guess, your parents aren't happy about their kids dating," said Jessie.
"They're a little uncomfortable, but they're adjusting," said Elijah. While their parents weren't completely happy with the sextuplets skipping their childhood, they knew they had no one to blame but themselves. And Animalia had given them a chance to start over. Their mother was actually looking forward to being pregnant again, though hopefully with significantly less children than last time.
"Well, they'll have to agree, but I'm also thinking about our sisters," said Abraham.
"Sisters?" asked Theresa and Jessie, a bit of dread appearing on their faces.
"That's right. It shouldn't be us boys who should be getting mates. They should have someone too," said Abraham.
Theresa sighed and said, "I was afraid you'd say that. There are few enough stallions to go around as it is. Unless there's a new influx of bodybuilders or hippies who want to go equine."
"Even so," said Abraham, "Each of our sisters deserves to have her own stallion."
"Or mare," added Elijah.
"What?" asked Abraham.
"Well, I'm not really certain, but I think that either Blythe or Coye might be bi," said Elijah.
"What would make you say that?" asked Abraham.
"Well, I went into their room and, er, found some pictures," said Elijah, "Something one of them must have printed off the adult section of the Animalian website."
"Nude women?" asked Jessie.
"Proactively-posed nude women," said Elijah.
"That could have been someone else's," said Abraham.
"Don't be silly," said Elijah, "If any of us guys had them, they'd be hidden in our own rooms. And I don't think Faye would have left them in there."
"Well, even if either Blythe or Coye were bi, that doesn't change a lot," said Abraham, "There probably aren't a lot of bisexual women who are single around here, mare or otherwise."
"That may not be so," said Jessie.
"What do you mean?" asked Theresa.
"You ever considered that Vera..." started Jessie.
"Her? She's just as guy-crazy as the rest of us," said Theresa.
"Not saying she isn't, but I'm pretty sure she swings both way," said Jessie, "You remember that one friend she had? With the darker skin?"
"Yeah, I was never sure if she was Hispanic, black, or just really tanned," said Theresa.
"And you remember how they were really close but then they had that big fight?" asked Jessie.
"I think I remember words like 'too clingy' and 'wanting too much commitment'," said Theresa, "They did make eventually, right?"
"I'm pretty sure," said Jessie, "But I did see that lady in one of those gay pride photos."
"You sure?" asked Theresa.
"I didn't want to ask Vera directly. I didn't want to nose in her business," said Jessie.
"So, we might have two unconfirmed bisexual mares," said Elijah, "That would be less pressure."
"Yes, if it works out between the four of us, Vera with your sister, Mary-Anne with Alex, Sara-Jane with Kip, and Elizabeth with Archie, that would pair up everyone," said Theresa.
"Except for Faye and the other sister," said Abraham.
"They shouldn't be too hard," said Jessie, "Or at least they won't be in such a rush to find mates yet."
Abraham frowned and said, "There's a few too many 'mights' and 'ifs' for me."
"People take more arranging to put together than puzzle pieces,' said Jessie, "But there's someone for everyone."
"I'm inclined to agree," said Elijah, his eyes drifting down to Jessie's cleavage again.
Abraham shook his brother's shoulder and said, "Don't get ahead of yourself. First we need to confirm if your suspicion is correct."
"Hmm...I like a man who takes charge," said Theresa, eying Abraham's muscles. Abraham wasn't adverse to the attention, but his younger siblings came first. He wanted to see if either Blythe or Coye would be comfortable with Vera before trying to pursue his own relationship.
