Jeff told Jay that they had been friends ever since kindergarten and that they had been through so many things together that they were practically brothers even to the point where Jeff's parents adopted Jay when his parents died.
Jay tried to remember these things, but with Jay using the chronivac he managed to modify Jay's memory so that he can try to remember the 'life' that they had together.
Jeff offered to play video games with Jay, and he happily accepted. They had tons of fun playing sports games to shooter games and all that, but then Jeff put on a game where the main character has the ability to fly and that is when Jay has a weird sensation as if he is watching someone on the screen do something that he feels like he can do. He closes his eyes and he can practically feel the breeze whip on his face and the feeling of complete and total freedom as he flys over everyone and everything.
Excusing himself to go to the toilet, Jay runs to the toilet which has a large window which goes onto the roof. Jay stares at the window, looking at the sky as if it was inviting him, calling to him, attracting to him.
Without realising it, Jay stripped himself down until he was completely naked. Clothes would only get in the way. He looked down at his perfectly fine body as if his bones were hollow and that he weighed as light as a feather. He opened the window and the cold air rushed in, and to Jay it felt delicious as he climbed out of the window and stepped onto the roof.
Jay closed his eyes as he felt the wind blowing upon his naked body.
"JAY!"
Jay turned around to see Jeff looking out of another window looking at him in utter shock and horror.
