Ana let out a yelp as she felt a sudden wave of energy go through her body. The energy made her feel dizzy and she would've fell down hard into the sand if it wasn't for Tim catching her.
Even then, it wasn't long before Tim suddenly lost his balance and fell to the sand, with Ana landing softly on top of his chest.
Chloe was merely speechless as she quickly recovered from the energy wave. Unlike Ana, Chloe was a frequent swimmer and she was used to dealing with waves of all kinds. She was only silent as she looked at what was happening to her friends before she herself felt her legs give out too.
Ana whimpered as she looked down at her legs.
Her legs twitched and spasmed. It wasn't painful, just strange - like nervous squirming and shivering at the same time. Her legs rubbed against each other for a moment before seeming to stick together like glue; Ana tried but she could not seperate them.
Before long, her legs quickly fused into one limb.
"What the…?!" Ana tried to lift up her "tail" but she still had no control over her lower body yet. What especially worried Ana was that she still her bikini on.
In the many mermaid movies Ana watched, the main characters were at least naked before they transformed. But she, Tim, and Chloe all still wore their swim suits.
Tim wore royal blue swim trunks while Ana wore a two-piece royal blue bikini - The two once thought their matching colors looked adorable.
Ana's single fleshy limb, that was once her two legs, began to spasm more as the lower half of her bikini began elongating and fusing with her lower body. Within a minute, her "leg" was completely covered by royal blue scales.
Ana thought the transformation would stop there but it didn't. Her feet were the next to go and her sandals soon fell to the sand as Ana's toes stretched out to become light blue tailfins. Next to go was bra as the straps holding her bikini fell apart. Ana was confused how her boobs were even still covered before she felt the bikinis soft fabric morphing into a seashell bra that perfectly fit her chest.
To mark the end of her transformation, gills opened at the sides of her belly.
"My god…" Ana whispered. "I'm a mer… mer-"
"Ana! Ana!" yelled Tim.
Ana quickly turned to see Tim in the middle of his transformation.
"My legs! My swim trunks are eating my legs!" Tim yelled again. "Please, help me!"
Ana dragged herself to her boyfriend's "leg" to see it being halfway covered up by the royal blue swim trunks. She tried to pull the swim trunks up but she couldn't find any seam at all with her fingers. It was if his swim trunks were merged with his skin. Plus, touching the flesh of Tim's weird fused limb only made her cringe.
"I'm sorry, baby! I can't!" Ana said as she gave up. "You're just… going to have to deal with this."
Tim let out a defeated groan. His eyes looked at the tail that made up the entirety of his girlfriend's lower half. "At least I won't be alone in this."
Ana crawled to her boyfriend's aid and gave him a hug. "It's going to be okay, baby, I promise. I won't leave your side, ever."
"With you by my side, I already feel a bit better already." Tim said with a relieved sigh.
With the two accepting Tim's transformation into a merman was inevitable, the couple held each other tight as Tim's feet started to stretch out and become webbed.
In the background, Damon and Monica were looking at what was going on in stunned silence.
Not only did they have to deal with their own troubles of finding a home underwater and raising a merbaby but they just unintentionally dragged in three more people into their situation!
The baby didn't seem to mind what was going on at all. In fact, it was only gigging with content as it saw Ana and Tim embracing each other.
Damon and Monica gulped as they looked at Chloe.
Unlike Ana or Monica, Chloe wore a one-piece forest green swimsuit, with a thick white strip that went on both sides of the garmet. The transformation she went through was unique compared to the other girls.
After her legs had fused, half of her swimsuit was torn cleanly off. The lower half of her suit went on to form her scaly tail while the upper half turned into a light green gossamer top that covered her upper body. Chloe would've otherwise been a beautiful mermaid if it wasn't for the look on her face.
Chloe's arms were crossed and she glared at Damon and Monica with an expression that clearly said "You two have a lot of explaining to do."
