"Me." Paul said, standing on top of his chair to gain some height and at least an appearance of dignity. "I am so sick of being a stupid little girl. I want my age back, I want my dignity back, and I want my weenie back!" He growled.
"Weenie?" Rick snickered.
"Shut up! This stupid camera won't let me curse! I just want to be me again, but even if I don't get fully back I'll take being older at least." He retorted.
"Alright honey." Olivia chimed in. "I want to go too, but at least I'm just a man. Not only are you female but a child... and a cutie pie at that!" She added in a babyish tone. She pinched his cheek jokingly and he grumbled it off.
"Alright Dad, if you insist." Emily agreed.
Paul awkwardly climbed down from his chair. He didn't want help, but he definitely looked stupid as he had to use his arms to drop to the floor. Despite this, he stood tall and was completely ready to end this nightmare. He was sick of being a child and just wanted everything to be normal again.
"Whenever you're ready Em." Paul said happily.
"Now remember Daddy, this is gonna be totally random. We have no idea if you will be normal or if your change will be even worse." Emily warned.
"Worse? How can it get worse?" He sneered, tugging on his pigtails for emphasis.
"Alright, just don't say I didn't warn you." She said, aiming the camera and then letting the FLASH engulf her father.
Paul had closed his eyes, partially to shield his eyes from the light and partially to hold off on finding out what he had transformed into. "Please please please." Was all that ran through his mind. He slowly opened his eyes, and immediately realized something was wrong. He was still short, but MUCH shorter than he had been a minute ago.
He looked up at Emily, and was about to ask what he had become when he noticed that something was wrong with his vision. It wasn't exactly black and white, but almost sepia in appearance. Had the flash affected him or was he going crazy? He tried to stand up, but quickly fell over. He grunted slightly as his chin hit the floor.
"Oh god, I hope I'm not a baby!" He thought.
"Oh, my, god." Emily gasped. "Daddy, don't panic." She calmly said, lowering a small hand mirror in front of him.
Paul couldn't believe what he was looking at. The mirror reflected not him, nor a human child even, but a cat. It was a fluffy, white cat with a little pink bow in it's hair and a collar with a dangly bell. Paul couldn't believe it, it somehow got even worse. He cried out, asking Emily to fix him immediately, but the only thing that left his lips was a scratchy meow.
"This is crazy, he's a cat!" Rick chuckled slightly.
"Rick this isn't funny." Emily scolded, lifting up the increasingly angry kitty.
"Come on Em it's a little funny." He silently protested.
"Paul, honey?" Olivia looked up at the struggling cat. Paul looked at her and felt somehow more embarrassed than even before... and very exposed as he realized how naked he was. "Please, I know you must be embarrassed and confused. Just calm down and we'll try again... ok?" She asked.
