Things were looking pretty bleak for James. A helpless toad was little match for a giant human intent on eating it and there was little chance of escape from the glass jar that had imprisoned him so effectively. There wasn't much he could do but continue to clear his accomodation of fruit flys and hope someone with the power to influence his fate would take pity on him.
Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by a large puff of pink smoke a few feet in front of him, which quickly dispersed to reveal a beautiful, blonde haired young woman with fairy wings and elven features. He could only hope this was the kindly intervention he had been waiting for.
The mysterious woman scanned the room before eventually locating James. She was scantily clothed in a pretty pink dress that showcased her athletic figure and shapely legs beautifully.
"Hmm, what have we here? A toad cursed human? We can't have that!"
The fairy seemed to glide towards James and lifted up his jar to address him.
"I assume you would like my help?" She asked.
"Ribbit! Ribbit! Ribbit!" James answered with great enthusiasm.
"Yes, I thought so" the fairy replied, apparently able to translate toad "Just hold on a second"
She removed the lid from the jar and James leaped eagerly and gratefully to freedom, landing at the strangers feet. The fairy waved her wand over the toad which was instantly obscured by a cloud of pink smoke. Once it dissapated a naked, human again James was squatting in it's place.
"Thank you so much, I thought I was in real trouble there" James smiled gratefully as he rose to his feet "I'm James by the way"
"I'm Aveline" the woman replied "and don't mention it. Helping people is what us fairies do. Now, is there anything else I can assist you with?"
"Can you send me back to the real world?" James asked quickly.
"What?"
From Aveline's confusion this story obviously was the real world to her. That wasn't going to work.
"Um, could you magic me up some clothes then?"
"Sorry, there isn't a spell for that"
James sighed. Whoever had brought Aveline into the story wasn't completely benevolent then.
"Then can we just get out of here?"
"Of course!" Aveline waved her wand and, before James could specify where they would be going they were on their way.
