After moaning and mooing and milking herself, she gets a knock at the door, not realizing how much time had passed to do all of that. She hears frantic knocking at the door, followed by the ominous, “Marina Dorada Promesa Garcia, open this door right now!” Mom was right outside, and she was mad! She had no choice but to put on her shirt, pull up her overalls and push the door slightly open, trying to quell her mother. She weakly tried to reason with her mother, “Oye Mami, todavía no estoy lista para su...” but all she got back was, “ CÁLLATE!” as she felt a thump on the door and heard her mom fall down. Marina’s heart sank, she really caused her mother to fall trying to burst in. She opened the door, dragged her mother inside and laid her on the couch. Leaving her alone to come to her senses, Marina stepped back out of her mother’s reach and tried to get her attention. “Mami, mami? Lo siento mami, por favor, levantase.” After a good two minutes of pleading, her mother regained consciousness. Just as soon as she got it, she was about to lose it again. “¡Una vaca! ¡Mi hija es una vaca! ¡Dios mío!” Marina couldn’t help but be a little bit guilty, all this happened because she didn’t call and check up with her. “Calm down Mami, I can explain, Es una larga...” Marina calmly said to her mother, rubbing her thigh to keep her relaxed to tell her (almost) everything.
