Karen's eyes fluttered open, as she started to stir. Her hands move, and she feels sand beneath her. As she listens, she hears waves lapping, and she sits up. She sees before her a beach, although it looks a lot like it's in a cove of some sort. Karen then looks around, realizing two things. For one, she's all alone. Two, she's completely naked. She yelps as she realizes her nudity, and quickly covers herself with her hands. How in the hell did she get here? As Karen backtracked, she couldn't recall what had happened. She remembered the carnival, and then nothing... Try as she might, Karen simply couldn't figure it out. "I need to get home..." mutters Karen to herself. As she stands up, dusting herself off, she notices something reflecting in the sun attached to her hip. As she double takes, and looks closer, it looks at first as if she had glass in her hip. "Ouch..." she said, as she proceeded to pull it. "Ouch!" she yelped, as it felt like she was pulling her skin off. Karen looked closer, and as she got close with her eyes, she saw that it wasn't glass at all. It's... a scale. A fish scale. "Did someone glue this onto me..?" Karen thought to herself. She looked over herself, making sure scales hadn't been glued to other places on her body. She examined, her 5'9'' frame, and her hands swept over her athletic body checking for anything else. Satisfied with only the one on her thigh, she started walking along the shore, trying to fins something to wear. To no avail. She looked around, and then out across the water. Her eyes suddenly caught something floating in the water. Without thinking, Karen waded in, and started swimming to the object that lay 50 metres out or so. As she swam, she realized that it, for some reason, felt better than usual. Almost a bit arousing. Trying not to mind it too much, Karen reached the object without breaking a sweat.
She took it in her hand, and smiled in relief. A shirt. Finally some luck. Karen swam back to the shore, and put on the shirt. It covered her upper body pretty well, as well as, her nether region. She sighed, and walked out of the cove, unaware of the few extra scales that popped up on her thigh while she had been in the water.
