Kenta smirked as he pulled up to the estate. Exiting the car the tanuki waved to the guards before approaching the backdoor. Opening it he now extended his paw to the occupant inside. "Well we're here."
Aiko scowled at the tanuki, taking his hand as she exited the car. "This better work tanuki," the disguised kitsune grumbled.
"Hey trust me," Kenta smiled as he now escorted Aiko inside. Aiko could only frown as she thought of how she had ended up in this situation.
With the realms merging all of the magical families were worried. Villars spell had effectively opened the door of the magical worlds. A small portion of those realms now existing in the realm of the mortals. While some families were cautious about interacting with mortals, others were taking full advantage of the situation. That's where Aiko came in.
Kenta and the other families in Japan had seen the moves the Nekomata were taking. If left unchecked they could upset the balance of power within the world. Considering the unpredictable nature of the Nekomata, the other families decided to assist the less savory members of Japanese society. Not only could they keep a watchful eye on the Nekomata, they could gain valuable information on the actions of mortals against the magical families.
Aiko had been unsure when approached by Kenta and Kiko. While the four tailed kitsune wanted to make amends for siding initially with Fukushu, what was being proposed was a bit extreme. "Tell me there's something else I can do," she moaned.
"I wish there was another way Aiko," Kiko sighed. "But with everything going on we need someone on the inside. My brother always spoke very highly of you. He said you were the very best at infiltration. We need you to gather information that can help us discover what the other side us planning against the clan."
Aiko sighed in annoyance as Kenta handed her a vial. "Hey it will only be temporary," Kenta smirked. "And he who knows. You might like looking like a tanuki."
"I doubt it," Aiko grumbled as she now downed the tanuki potion. Kenta and Kiko now stood back as the potion began to take affect. The kitsune shuddered, watching as her body began to swell, the narrow fox curves of the kitsune rounding off as she began transforming into a tanuki. Aiko gasped as she saw her fox tails quiver. The tails shuddered, merging together into a thick raccoon tail. Finally Aiko could feel her face begin to swell. Aiko's cheeks puffing up as her muzzle broadened. As the changes completed Kenta smiled at the newly minted Tanuki.
"Have I mentioned how hot you look," Kenta whispered.
"Too many times Kenta," Aiko grumbled, tightening her kimono around her.
"Look you'll do great," Kenta said happily as they now entered the estate. "And besides, you might actually have a bit of fun."

Kellie and her friends now entered the kitsunes home. Since the merger Kell8e had seen military forces surrounding the kitsunes home. Kellie suspected this may have been part of Fukushu's plan. The kitsune had openly supported the wizards during Villars invasion. Kellie realized it seemed like something Fukuahu would do, they may have been his family but his true love was vengeance.
As Kellie and her friends entered the kitsune palace, she was surprised to see Kiko and her father Tatsu. "Lord Tatsu," Kellie whispered.
Tatsu smiled, slowly approaching Kellie before placing his paw on her shoulder. "There is no need to be so formal Ms. Pendragon," he smiled. "I owe you a debt of thanks. You succeeded in destroying Villar."
"Your welcome Tatsu," Kellie answered, bowing before the divine kitsune.
"Dont mind my old man," Kiko smirked. "Hes been over the moon since mom woke up and found out hes a grandfather."
"Shizen is okay," Katie asked.
"Shes still in the hospital but she should be okay," Kiko said.
"So how have things been," Lisa asked.
"Tense," Kiko sighed. "The government hasnt exactly rolled out the welcome mat. They're scared but we're working on negotiations. Plus, we have someone on the inside feeding us info."
"So what did you want to talk with us about," Kumiko asked.
"While we have avoided the worst possible outcome their is still an element of danger," Tatsu stated. "While our timeline has not been as aggressive with the magical families, that is not the case in the other timeline."
Kellie and her friends nodded, they were well aware of the problems in the other timeline. Mia and Zack were still missing. What was worse was hearing that the Cole and Kumiko in that timeline had been taken into custody.
"Have you talked with Claudia or Mika," Karen asked.
"We did," Kiko said. "We also had to break the bad news to them. The spell Mika cast could be permanent. We still dont know if we can separate them. Needless to say they weren't exactly thrilled."
"So what do we need to do now," Mary Elise asked.
"I would suggest talking with Akira," Kiko said. "When he heard Mia and Zack were missing he wanted to offer his help."
"I would also say that you should talk with the other magical famlies," Tatsu said. "The Lycans were devastated by their battle, nearly half of their population was killed by Abolith and the liches."
"You might want to talk with the dragons too," Kiko said. "As soon as Matt revealed himself as the leader, some of the dragons left the clan. He may still be in charge but he could use some support."
Kellie nodded as she and her friends pondered their next move.
