Colin pulled out a baseball cap that looked like it was molded from stainless steel, plopping it on his head backwards.
“How exactly is that supposed to help?” Lynn asked.
“Wait, look!” Shelby said.
The polished metal sheen spread across his skin and clothes, until he was completely coated in metal.
The guards began shooting at him, their rounds bouncing off his metallic body as he ran up the stairs.
“Holy shit it’s working!” Lynn yelled.
Colin slugged people with the force of a tank as he ran through the halls and up the stairs.
An employee ripped open a bag of gobstoppers and threw them at the floor. Colin jumped over the spill like a champ... immediately smashing through the floor and plummeting off the sixth floor.
“How long does it last anyway?” Lynn asked.
Not long, as a now de-metallic Colin screamed “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!” while falling.
*CRUNCH*
“Oooooh...” Lynn winced at his now ninety-degree spine.
