The sight of those golden-furred flaps hanging over the sides of your head makes you laugh out loud. This sure is going to be a fun funhouse. And to think you're getting it faster and cheaper by just sneaking in!
Of course, the laughter comes to a stop when you actually lift your hands up to your ears and realize you can feel what you're seeing in the mirror. You finger the fuzzy, triangular lobes gently, stunned that these are actually you're own ears that your feeling. You let go and swing your head from side to side experimentally. Sure enough, you can feel your new dog ears flapping up and down as you do so. You step back and stare at your reflection some more, heart racing.
* This mirror actually changed me to have dog ears. *
You don't know what's going on, but maybe going to see one of the other mirrors would change you back? You could almost swear you hear a voice again from somewhere behind you or maybe just inside your own nervous and guilty mind.
YOU'VE BEEN A BAD BOY. NO ONE COMES THROUGH HERE WITHOUT PAYING A PRICE.
You hope this is all still just an illusion somehow, a trick of sound and light, but you don't see how. If it's really a funhouse, it's the most convincing you've ever been in. You try to shut the voice out of your mind and slip deeper into the funhouse, scratching your arm anxiously.
