Dylan, Luke, and Ethan were all brothers. They had been born into a very poor family, and a few years ago their parents had died. This left them homeless orphans who had to steal to survive.
Dylan, at 13, was the oldest; he tried to be a surrogate father to his younger brothers. Luke was 10, and Ethan was 7. They hadn’t attended school in 3 years and there didn’t seem to be much of a future for them.
Until one day when a kind-looking man saw them huddled in an alley and said they could come stay with him. They eagerly accepted and soon arrived at a big fancy house.
“Each of you can have your own room here,” the man said as he sent them off.
“Thank you so much! You have no idea what this means to us,” Dylan said with tearing eyes.
The man shrugged. “I’ve always had a soft spot for kids.”
After they were gone, the man smiled. He was a magician, and he made his money from providing teenage girls with their dream men. And now he had a fresh supply of boys.
