Even as you reach for the phone, you find yourself wondering why you're so worked up about this. Wouldn't it be cool to share it with someone else? Your girlfriend would have been your first choice, of course, but you doubt you and Amy are still dating. After all, the change to make you Kelsey's roommate wouldn't have done anything to change Amy from her heterosexual preference. Anyway, Kelsey's here now, so it might as well be her.
"Actually, that app is magic," you tell her. "Whatever you change in the sentence changes in reality."
"Yeah, right," Kelsey scoffs. But then she glances at the screen and frowns. "Wait, are you serious?"
"Absolutely," you say. It still feels weird to be speaking and hearing that feminine voice come out - not to mention feel the slight weight of your new breasts. They might be on the small side, but they're still more than you're used to having.
"So the sentences it makes..."
"Those are real," you tell her. It feels good to be able to share this with her, even if you barely know her. Although she probably thinks she knows you well. "I don't know how, but what it says is true."
"Really?" Kelsey says. A grin spreads across her face. "So what made it say this?" She turns the screen toward you, and you see that she's generated another sentence.
"This new woman is still getting used to her feminine voice and small boobs."
For a moment you briefly consider lying and trying to cover it up, but something tells you not to do that. Instead, you shrug. "I wasn't a girl before this," you tell Kelsey. "Hell, I wasn't a girl ten minutes ago. I was trying to make you my roommate, but...well, it made us roommates by making me a girl. I was trying to fix things before you grabbed it." You frown. "Which reminds me, can I please have that back?"
