Kellie found herself on the outskirts of the kitsune home, gazing at the small Shinto shrine. She was not looking forward to this.
Tatsu, Mika, and Kiko had approached her, after talking with the royal family she realized that although a major crisis had been averted they were not out of the woods yet. Akira would be needed in the battle to come.
The question now was what could the five tails do? Already his sister was useing her skills to gather information on events transpiring in the mortal world. At first stumped, Kellie came up with an idea.
"Hope this works," she mumbled. Knocking on the door of the shrine Kellie waited for only a moment before the five tail kitsune opened the door. Akira narrowed his eyes as he now critically looked her over. "Kellie Pendragon," he grumbled.
"Akira," she replied curtly. "I need your help."
"What makes you think I would assist you," he scoffed, turning back inside the shrine. Kellie now followed the kitsune inside, closing the door. Akira did not protest sitting down as he gazed at the teenage wizard.
"Its not ne that needs help," she said. "Its Zack and Mia." Akiras face remained blank but Kellie could see she had the kitsunes attention, his ears perking up at the mention of the werewolf and witch.
"I've already talked with Mika," Kellie said. "I heard what they did at the hotel. How they altered the future to give you a second chance, a chance at redemption."
"They should of destroyed," he grumbled. "I've spent my time since at this shrine. An outcast to my people. Now my sister has even left my side. I am alone, I have no purpose."
"I think you do," Kellie stated. Akira raised an eyebrow as Kellie now took a deep breath.
"Mia and Zack are in trouble," she said. "The children Mia and Zack, not the future ones you met. The kids are missing, in very much the same way they were missing in the future they described to you."
"So the children were destined for pain," he sighed. "I fail to see how this involves me. I will not be the fuel of nightmares for children."
"What about their savior?"
Akira raised an eyebrow as Kellie now approached. "They are being chased by not only mortal but supernatural forces," she said. "Their are others looking for them but the kids seem to be quite good at covering their tracks. You've spent your time since returning wondering what your purpose was? I'm offering you a chance to save them and maybe find your purpose."
Akira paused, gazing out the window as he turned Kellies words over in his head. Slowly the kitsune now stood, narrowing his eyes as he gazed intently at Kellie.
"When do I get started."
