Mark was laying on the couch watching tv when he heard a knock on the door. He got up to see who it was and was handed a package. The package was sent for TransDem Labs. Mark was curious, of course. So he immediately tore open the package to find a small device, a cd, and a note.
The note read, “Congratulations Mark! You’ve been selected to test out our newest product. The Chronivac 4.0! Within the package you will see the pc install program and the portable emitter. Have fun!”
Mark was somewhat confused. He had never heard of this product before and was also wondering why no instructions were left. Oh well, he thought. He didn't normally have an issue navigating computer programs before and thought that this would be no different. But, he decided to play it safe and used his old laptop that was sitting collecting dust on the bookshelf in his room.
He took the laptop and laid on the bed with it. Started up the computer and put in the disc. Install showed about 5 minutes. While the disc was installed he looked over the device that came with it. He assumed that this was the portable emitter the note referred to. He saw it had 10 buttons labeled 1 through 10 accordingly. He also saw a button that said “Revert”. Mark thought, “What could this thing possibly revert?”
At that moment he looked at the computer and noticed the install had completed. He booted up the program and it came up with HIS STATS!
